Although our base is in the Stannington area of Sheffield we travel extensively around the region and occasionally to different parts of the country. As our reputation has spread. Sheffield wedding photographer Mike Bellwood is in great demand and it is advisable to book well in advance for the popular dates, occasionally we can take bookings at shorter notice so it’s always worth giving us a call.
The designer story book albums where originally created for wedding albums but they are becoming increasingly popular for family lifestyle portrait books and children’s albums.

Bellwood Photography is based in the Stannington area of Sheffield and undertake assignments throughout the areas of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The studio is a husband and wife team which specialise in top quality weddings and portraits. The family run studio was started back in 1949 but is now run by Eileen and Mike Bellwood, highly qualified Mike is in charge of the photography, while Eileen concentrates on the digital enhancements and wedding album designs. The combination of their skills create the eye catching images for which their studio has become so well known.

We offer casual and unobtrusive photographs, although the modern styles of photography are very popular we do find that many clients prefer a mix of the contemporary together with a few more classical and traditional photographs. Our Wedding gallery has very many examples of our work.
We’ve been in the News!
Back in 85 Mike Bellwood created some stylish shots of a bridal couple by the Tinsley cooling towers and again for their anniversary 22 years later. With the recent demolition of the towers, the story was picked up by the media, which led to Mike being interviewed on ITV’s Calendar and the photographs appearing in several newspapers including on the front page of the Sheffield Star.
